South China Auto Parts Testing Center to Settle in Foshan

A few days ago, it was learned from the press conference of the 2005 China (Foshan) International Auto Parts Expo that as a "supporting project" for the China (Foshan) International Auto Parts Expo held from October 20 to 22 this year, the China Machinery Industry Association will Establish a South China Auto Parts Testing Center in Foshan. Lin Bangyan, the mayor of Chancheng District, said that Foshan has reached an agreement with the China Machinery Industry Association. The China Machinery Association will establish a South China Auto Parts Certification Center in Foshan. In the future, all auto parts manufacturers in South China will only need to send their products to the center. For testing, it can be produced after certification, instead of sending it to Beijing for testing as before. He said that this year's Auto Expo was co-organized with the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers and the China Automobile Dealers Association. The purpose is to rely on the resources of these associations to drive international and domestic auto parts procurement companies and manufacturers to Foshan, making Foshan Auto Expo a veritable international parts procurement exhibition. According to reports, there are currently 169 auto parts manufacturers in Foshan, including 165 supporting manufacturers, and the number of varieties produced is as many as 100. Among them, there are 11 parts companies invested by the world's top 500. At the same time, there are more than 350 auto parts sales and operation enterprises, and the market brings together dealers and agents of well-known enterprises at home and abroad, and more than 90% of the model accessories can be found in the Foshan market.
